Shares in educational IT services provider
RM perked up today when it confirmed its joint venture with LEGO Education. The joint venture will be the exclusive distributor of LEGO products to the education sector in Europe. RM will own 49% of the business. This helps to offset recent disappointments relating to UK government spending but it will not be enough to make up for the loss of work.Telecom and medical systems supplier BATM continues to slide after Monday's interim management statement. Revenues in July and August of $18.6m were lower than the $19.1m reported for the same months last year. Gross margins are slightly higher than the first half. There is $53.4m in the bank. BATM hopes for a pick up in revenues in the fourth quarter.
