Strategic Equity Capital Net Asset Value Per Share Increases On The Year

LONDON (Alliance News) - Strategic Equity Capital PLC Thursday said its net asset value per share increased over 20% on the year after its portfolio performed well.

Strategic Equity recorded its net asset value per share at 126.36 pence on June 30, compared with 101.96 pence on June 30, 2012.

Strategic Equity said it has no immediate plans to replace Chairman John Hodson, who wants to step down. It said it will wait until SVG Capital sells SVG Investment Managers Limited, Strategic's current fund manager, to Hansa Aktiengesellschaft, a Swiss based international investment and holding company.

Strategic Equity shares were Thursday quoted at 123.75 pence each, up 1.25 pence, or 1.0%
