LONDON (Alliance News) - Support services and logistics provider Stobart Group Ltd on Friday said Chief Financial Officer Ben Whawell is to shift to the role of chief executive of the firm's Energy division.
He will step down from the board with immediate effect, and Stobart said the recruitment of a new CFO is well-advanced.
Stobart said the Energy arm is anticipated to deliver strong growth in coming year as existing fuel supply contracts come on stream to meet demand from new biomass power plants as they are commissioned.
Stobart shares were down 1.0% to 152.00 pence Friday.
