JOHANNESBURG, April 10 (Reuters) - South African state-owned power utility Eskom said on Friday that a task team had concluded an electricity tariff of 62 cents per kilowatt hour for the Samancor Chrome and Glencore-Merafe Chrome ferrochrome smelters.
The tariff intervention would improve Eskom's liquidity without requiring higher consumer tariffs, additional borrowing or further government support, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Nilutpal Timsina; Editing by Alexander Winning)
