SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Robert Walters PLC, up 4.1% at 384.00 pence, 12-month range 351.10p-620.00p. The recruitment firm rises ahead of ex-dividend payment date on Thursday.

Luceco PLC, up 2.4% at 126.20p, 12-month range 63.47p-155.00p. The supplier of wiring accessories, electric vehicle chargers, LED lighting, and portable power products rises ahead of half-year results on Tuesday. In July, Luceco said the first half of 2023 was ahead of its expectations despite revenue falling 5.0% year-on-year to GBP101 million. It blamed this on the current economic environment which it says reduces residential renovation, maintenance & improvement spending.

Funding Circle Holdings PLC, down 4.6% at 42.00p, 12-month range 29.68p-70.00p. The commercial lender falls, in line with the trend in 2023 so far. In the year-to-date the stock is down 23%, however over the last 12 months the shares are up 26%.
