SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Argo Blockchain falls as deal closes

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Tirupati Graphite PLC, up 2.7% at 33.37 pence, 12-month range 21.50p - 85.10p. Widens its loss in the first half of its financial year, but records a jump in revenue. The graphite and graphene producer reports a pretax loss of GBP1.5 million in the six months that ended September 30 from GBP1.1 million loss a year earlier. Meanwhile, revenue doubles to GBP1.2 million from GBP560,058 the prior year. The cost of production jumps to GBP787,312 from GBP255,193 the prior year, and the depreciation of operating assets increases to GBP639,079 from GBP172,853. Administrative expenses also increase slightly to GBP1.2 million from GBP1.1 million a year before.

PRS REIT PLC, up 1.0% at 88.21 pence, 12-month range 80.20p - 114.00p. Notes short-term extension to its GBP150 million revolving credit facility with Lloyds Banking Group PLC and Royal Bank of Scotland PLC, which matures in February 2023. Says the extension has been secured for the period to July 14, 2023, at the same margin above the three-month sterling overnight index average rate as its existing arrangements.

Argo Blockchain PLC, down 6.6% at 6.07 pence, 12-month range 2.00p - 101.00p. Closes its deal with Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. On Wednesday, Argo Blockchain said it had entered an agreement for a subsidiary to sell its Helios Facility in Dickens County, Texas to Galaxy Digital for USD65 million. Argo said the subsidiary also will refinance asset-backed loans with a USD35 million loan from Galaxy. The loan will be backed by Argo's fleet of 23,619 Bitmain S19J Pro cryptocurrency mining machines currently operating at the Helios site. The company said Galaxy has agreed to host Argo's mining machines for a two-year period, but they will remain owned by Argo.
