Scisys wins contract with 'major European broadcaster'

(Sharecast News) - Software firm Scisys' media solutions subsidiary has been awarded a contract from "a major European broadcaster" for newsroom software, services and training.
Scisys Media Solutions will provide the client with an "integrated newsroom solution" for planning and rundown management using its leading OpenMedia INFINITY and NEWSBOARD software solutions.

The AIM-listed group said the contract win added "a strategically important new customer" to the Scisys Media Solutions portfolio. It also noted the win was included in its existing market guidance.

Scisys stated the contract win also further strengthened its position as "the leading supplier of newsroom solutions in Europe".

Chief executive Klaus Heidrich said: "We are delighted with this contract win, which demonstrates that we are leaders in the European market with our premium OpenMedia and NEWSBOARD products for newsrooms and broadcasters."

As of 1015 BST, Scisys shares had dipped 0.71% to 249.21p.
