LONDON (Alliance News) - Rockfire Resources PLC on Wednesday said it appointed Nicholas Walley as non-executive director, effective immediately.
The gold and copper exploration company said it believes that Walley's personal success in business and his knowledge and experience with the UK legal requirements will benefit Rockfire in its growth plans.
"With his very successful background in property and construction, Nicholas brings a wealth of commercial, financial and project development skills to Rockfire," said Chief Executive David Price.
"One of the key areas Nicholas will assist Rockfire with is our project development strategy. Rockfire has been actively assessing new, more advanced opportunities globally and we have reviewed many projects throughout Australia, North America and Europe," added Price.
Rockfire Resources shares were trading 2.4% lower on Wednesday afternoon at 0.71 pence each.
