NEW YORK, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Investors suing various banksfor rigging prices in the foreign exchange market have reachedsettlements with nine banks that have brought their totalrecovery to more than $2 billion, a lawyer for the plaintiffssaid Thursday.

HSBC Holdings PLC, Barclays PLC, BNPParibas SA and Goldman Sachs Group Inc areamong the latest to banks reach settlement in the class actionlitigation, Christopher Burke, a lawyer for the investors, saidin Manhattan federal court. (Reporting by Nate Raymond in New York; Editing by DavidGregorio)
