Redstone wins £10.2m contract

Managed services provider Redstone has won a contract worth up to £10.2m to deliver a managed wide area computer network to a new customer. The maximum five year contract will cover an estimated 1,900 sites across the UK and Ireland. Full roll-out is expected to begin early next year upon completion of the pilot programme currently being undertaken.Tony Weaver, chief executive of loss-making AIM-listed technology company said: "This will form another long-term contract providing annuity revenue and the potential to offer other services from the Redstone portfolio to this new customer in the future."The share price rose 6.67% to 1.6p by 08:19.NR
