(Alliance News) - Reach PLC said Tuesday it had hired former BBC and Channel 4 executive Anne Bulford as non-executive director of the publishing firm with immediate effect.
Bulford - a chartered accountant - has previously served as finance director and then later deputy director-general of state-owned broadcaster the BBC. She had also served as chief operating officer at Channel 4.
Shares in Reach, publisher of the UK tabloid newspapers Daily Mirror and Daily Express, were 0.8% lower at 76.70 pence in London on Tuesday.
