Prairie Mining Shares Suspended On ASX Pending Legal Proceedings Update (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Coal development firm Prairie Mining Ltd on Friday said that trading of its shares on the Australian Stock Exchange has been halted, pending an announcement regarding ongoing legal proceedings for the Jan Karski Mine, in Poland.

The suspension will last until publication of the announcement or until Tuesday, whichever happens first.

Prairie shares on the London Stock Exchange will continue trading as normal. They were up 14% trading at 25.15 pence each on Friday morning.

The company has been entangled in legal proceedings with Poland's Ministry of Environment regarding mining concession application for the Jan Karski Mine.
