Pace CEO trades in 50,000 shares

Mike Pulli, the Chief Executive Officer of Pace has disposed of 50,000 shares, although it said the transaction was carried out to cover tax liabilities in the US. The disposal generated just over £199,000, having traded in the shares at 398.10p. He reduced his beneficial holding in the company to 603,912 shares. Meanwhile, Greenko, which owns and operates clean energy projects, said that one of its non-executive directors, John Rennocks, had acquired a modest round of shares at 167.5p each. The addition of the shares, costing £12,388, increased his stake by 7,396 to 44,521 shares. The purchase came one day after the firm revealed it expects full-year results to meet expectations and said that the backdrop for renewable energy in India remains positive.Greenko, which is focused on building new utility scale wind farms and hydropower projects across India, said that trading in the 12 months ended March 31st was "in line" with power generation up 17% at 1,050 gigawatts.The company said that the early monsoon helped southern hydro generation rise by 43% during the year, while wind assets performed strongly. Northern hydro did "reasonably well" despite an extended winter and limited snowmelt at the start of the year.
