(Alliance News) - The UK telecommunications regulator on Friday outlined the qualified applicants who will take part in the upcoming spectrum auction.
Ofcom said BT Group PLC's EE Ltd business, CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd's Hutchison 3G UK Ltd, Telefonica UK Ltd and Vodafone Ltd will take part in the auction.
The regulator is planning to release airwaves in the 700 MHz and 3.6 to 3.8 GHz bands through an auction, with bidding expected to start by the end of January 2021.
