Microsaic Systems Signs US Distribution Contract With Spark Holland

LONDON (Alliance News) - Microsaic Systems PLC on Wednesday said it signed an exclusive agreement with Spark Holland Inc to distribute Microsaic-branded 4500 MiD mass spectrometry detector in the US and Canada.

The stock was trading 8.9% higher on Wednesday at 1.36 pence per share.

The developer of mass spectrometry instruments said Spark Holland, which trades as iChrom Solutions, is a full-service instrument distributor. It serves industries including clinical chemistry and drug development in both the small molecule pharmaceutical area and protein characterization.

"I am extremely pleased to partner with iChrom to distribute our compact, point-of-need mass spectrometry technology, alongside their impressive technology portfolio," said Microsaic Chief Executive Glenn Tracey.

"Clearly, North America is a well-established market for analytical chemistry, and this marks another milestone in what we expect to be a very exciting period of growth for Microsaic," added Tracey.
