(Sharecast News) - Live Company confirmed two appointments to its board on Thursday, including Trudy Norris-Grey as an independent non-executive director, who will also sit on the remuneration committee.The AIM-traded firm, which specialises in operating LEGO-themed live events, also confirmed Simon Horgan as a non-executive director, who would apparently provide the group with a "wealth" of industry and strategic experience. It also announced a number of senior management appointments in connection with the business combination and integration subsequent to its acquisition of Bright Bricks, with Andy Smith stepping into the role of executive chairman at Bright Bricks.Smith would continue is his role as chief strategic officer on the Board of Live Company as well.Tina Anthony was confirmed as Live Company group director of business development, with Ruth Cunningham joining as Live Company chief operating officer, and Jon Gayton moving into his new role as chief operating officer of Bricklive Group.Paul Randall was joining the firm as Live Company group financial controller, reporting to chief financial officer Bryan Lawrie, with Paul Esson moving to sales and marketing director of Bright Bricks.The company said it had held discussions with candidates on the appointment of a further independent non-executive director, who would add public company experience to the board.On 25 October, the company announced that it had secured new contracts internationally with Zoos for Bricklive Animal Paradise.It said on Thursday that, in order to fulfil those contracts, it needed to "fast track" its previously-planned building programme, and in order to facilitate that, the board had decided to draw down the full working capital facility it announced on 17 October in the coming weeks.The board said it was the company's intention to repay the facility in cash."We are pleased that our integration strategy is going to plan and that we are able to fast track the group's build program to meet its new commitments," said Live Company group chairman David Ciclitira."These new and internal appointments bring a wealth of experience to the group that will enable increased development."Ciclitira noted that Thursday also marked the start of the company's flagship event, Bricklive Birmingham."Year upon year this event brings back fans, and this year it is even more special as it marks the first Bricklive event with Bright Bricks as part of the group."Over 50 LEGO models built by Bright Bricks 'Mythical Beasts' are the star of this years show, inspired by legends from Ancient Greece."
