LONDON (Alliance News) - Internet of things platform provider LightwaveRF PLC on Monday said it has signed a distribution agreement in the UK with ERA Home Security Ltd.
Under the agreement, ERA, owned by door and window components supplier Tyman PLC, will become LightwaveRF's distributor for key DIY retail accounts in the UK, including Kingfisher Group PLC, which owns B&Q, and electronics retailer Maplin.
The agreement has been signed with initial agreed orders in place of GBP250,000, LightwaveRF said.
"This is a significant building block in both our channels to market and technology partnerships. ERA is a large and respected company that will add significantly to the retail reach of the LightwaveRF brand," said LightwaveRF Chief Executive Mike Lord.
Shares in LightwaveRF were up 12% to 13.00 pence.
