Wed, 12th Jun 2019 10:54

(Alliance News) - Financial advisor Lighthouse Group PLC's takeover by a Quilter PLC subsidiary has been completed, Lighthouse said on Wednesday.

This will see Lighthouse's shares suspended from trading on AIM Wednesday, with shares to be cancelled on Thursday.

The GBP46.2 million takeover by Intrinsic Financial Services Ltd, wholly-owned by Quilter, was first announced in early April. Quilter will pay 33 pence per share, a 25% premium to Lighthouse's price of 26.5p the day before the offer was announced.

Lighthouse was quoted at 32.74p on Tuesday, the last trading day before shares were suspended.
