(Alliance News) - LiDCO Group PLC said Thursday it has signed a variation agreement to its existing commercial partnership with Austrian medical technology manufacturer CNSystems Medizintechnik AG.
The agreement will provide the haemodynamic monitoring company with access to CNS's latest non-invasive blood pressure monitoring software.
The latest software will come with improvements, including a faster set-up of equipment, an assistant which will recognised if an incorrect sensor size is attached, and improved signal optimisation.
Going forwards, LiDCO expects to launch the new technology as part of its existing monitor platform in the first half of 2020.
"CNS is an important partner for LiDCO and these new improvements provide us with exciting features that we can offer to new and existing customers. Our non-invasive technology is an important part of our HUP offering which will be further strengthened by these innovations," said Chief Executive Officer Matt Sassone.
Shares in LiDCO were untraded on Thursday, last quoted at 4.25 pence in London.
