LONDON (Alliance News) - Kromek Group PLC on Monday said it raised GBP21 million in a placing and open offer of shares at 25 pence apiece.
Kromek shares were trading up 0.7% on Monday afternoon at 27.45p each.
The supplier of detection technology allotted a total of 84.0 million shares, of which 80 million issued for the placing and 4 million for the open offer.
At the beginning of February, Kromek had said it was targeting to raise the GBP21 million.
Back then, the company said it intends to use net proceeds to "significantly" increase future manufacturing capacity and for associated working capital to support the growth of the medical imaging business.
Admission of the shares to placing is expected on Tuesday, after which the firm will have 344.6 million shares in issue.
