LONDON (Alliance News) - JZ Capital Partners Ltd, a London-listed private equity fund, Monday said it has invested USD22 million in K2 Towers, a wireless communication towers operator.
K2, which was founded in 2009, acquires and maintains wireless communication towers, with a portfolio spanning the US and Puerto Rico.
JZ, which focuses on US and European microcap companies and US real estate, said it committed the cash alongside a broader investment group led by Orangewood Partners.
"This transaction expands our US portfolio of diverse, high quality companies. We are confident in the growth prospects of K2 and the specialist sector in which it operates and look forward to working with management as they grow the business," David Zalaznick, JZ Capital Partners' founder and investment adviser, said in a statement.
JZ Capital shares were up 0.4% at 472.50 pence on Monday.
