John Laing lifts stake in Australia jail project

(Sharecast News) - Infrastructure project investor John Laing said it had invested AUD $22.5m (£12.6m) to lift its stake in Australia's largest prison.
Laing said it bought an additional 10% in the Clarence Correctional Centre project from construction partner John Holland Group, taking its stake to 90%

The minimum and maximum-security jail in Grafton, New South Wales holds 1,700 male and female prisoners.
