International sales boost Electrocomponents profit
April 3 (Reuters) - Electronics parts supplierElectrocomponents Plc reported a 4 percent rise infourth-quarter underlying sales as strong demand from NorthAmerica lifted its international business.
The British component distributor, whose products range fromcellphone accessories to thermometers and pliers, said itexpected full-year headline pretax profit to be in line withmarket expectations. (Reporting by Tasim Zahid and Richa Naidu in Bangalore; Editingby Joyjeet Das)
