Intercede Picks Pol Chair As Founder, Chair And Boss Parris Steps Down

LONDON (Alliance News) - Identification technology firm Intercede PLC said Thursday its founder, chief executive officer & chairman, Richard Parris, has stood down from the CEO and chairman roles with immediate effect to become a non-executive director.

Current Non-Executive Director Chuck Pol will take over the non-executive chair from Parris. Pol has been at the firm since July 2017 having held senior roles at BT Group PLC and Vodafone Group PLC.

The CEO post will be filled once the current search is finalised.

"On behalf of the board and shareholders in Intercede, I would like to thank Richard for his many years of service to Intercede," Pol said. "His vision and hard work have helped make the company what it is today and we look forward to continuing to benefit from his experience in his role as a Non-Executive Director."

Shares in Intercede were 6.1% higher at 24.40 pence on Thursday.
