IN BRIEF: Zegona to return GBP329 million to shareholders in October

Zegona Communications PLC - company which invests in telecommunications and entertainment - Intends to return up to GBP329.3 million to shareholders by way of a tender offer at a price of GBP1.535 per share. The move follows Zegona's commitment to return capital to shareholders after selling its investment in Spanish telekom firm Euskaltel SA. The tender offer will close on October 5, with cash payments expected shortly thereafter.

Current stock price: 149.75 pence

Year-to-date change: up 42%
