IN BRIEF: Yellow Cake uranium pile rises as takes Kazatomprom delivery

Yellow Cake PLC - Jersey-headquartered investor in physical uranium - Takes delivery on Monday of uranium from JSC National Atomic Co Kazatomprom at its Cameco storage facility in Canada. The uranium is in the form of compound U3O8, triuranium octoxide. Yellow Cake receives 1.3 million pounds of U3O8, having exercised its option to buy it from Kazatomprom for USD75.08 per pound, worth USD100.0 million. Yellow Cake will buy a further 1.2 million pounds of U3O8 from Kazatomprom at USD86.15 per pound, also worth USD100.0 million. Once Yellow Cake takes delivery of this uranium in the second half of 2026, plus 100,000 pounds purchased elsewhere on Friday this week, it will have 24.3 million pounds of uranium in storage in Canada and France.

Current stock price: 597.50 pence, up 1.1% in London on Tuesday
