IN BRIEF: TBC Bank names Guy Stevens as new finance chief

TBC Bank Group PLC - Tbilisi-based lender - Appoints Guy Stevens at chief financial officer, effective July 13. Says current CFO Giorgi Megrelishvili will step down and leave TBC on August 1. Notes Stevens' near 30 years of corporate finance experience in the financial institutions sector, with him having held roles at UBS Investment Bank, Deloitte Corporate Finance and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. Adds that Stevens has long standing familiarity with the bank, including as joint global coordinator of the company's IPO back in 2014. Last week, TBC Bank expressed optimism on the economic growth outlook for Georgia and Uzbekistan, as it posted improved first-quarter profit.

"We are delighted to welcome the new group CFO to TBC. His experience, perspective and familiarity with the group will further strengthen the leadership team and support the Board in delivering its priorities," says Chair Arne Berggren.

Current stock price: 4,674.00 pence, up 0.3% on Monday morning in London
