IN BRIEF: Synergia flips to loss, considering Cambay options

Synergia Energy Ltd - West Perth, Australia-based oil and gas company - Reports revenue from gas and oil sales of AUD116,469 or GBP60,584 for the six months ended December 31, down from AUD156,470 the year before. Swings to pretax loss of AUD574,816 from profit of AUD6.3 million. Notes that the proposed sale of the remaining 50% participating interest in the Cambay PSC to Antelopus Selan Energy Ltd did not complete, and the agreed exclusivity period expired on February 8. Also, the previous year's results included a one-off AUD8.4 million gain on the farm-out of the Cambay field. Looking ahead, its short-term priorities include progressing the strategic review of its options for the Cambay PSC and continuing engagement with Indian regulators, and advancing talks with potential new partners for the Camelot CCS project.

Current stock price: 0.013 pence, up 13% in London on Thursday
