St James's Place PLC - FTSE 100-listed wealth manager - Appoints John Hitchins as non-executive director with immediate effect. Hitchins is currently senior adviser to the UK Financial Reporting Council.

"I am delighted that John has agreed to join the board of St James's Place. He will bring to the Board a deep knowledge of the financial services sector, audit and financial reporting, as well as a wealth of experience as a non-executive director," says Chair Paul Manduca.

Current stock price: 1,584.50 pence

Year-to-date change: up 40%
