IN BRIEF: Shareholder in MITIE to sell up to 7.0% stake via placing

Mitie Group PLC - Glasgow-based facilities management and professional services - Shareholder Project County SPV 1 Designated Activity Co intends to sell up to 99.4 million shares through a placing, run by Jefferies International Ltd and Peel Hunt LLP as joint global coordinators and bookrunners.

The shares to be issued reflects a 7.0% holding in Mitie, and is Project County's entire interest. Price per share will be determined through an accelerated bookbuild process, and Mitie will not gain any proceeds from the placing.

Current stock price: 73.76 pence

Year-to-date change: up 79%
