IN BRIEF: Seeing Machines to unveil "major" new mapping solution

Seeing Machines Ltd - Canberra, Australia-based designer of vehicle operator monitoring systems - Intends to "unveil its next-generation 3D Cabin Perception Mapping solution at CES 2026, the world's leading technology event". Says the solution delivers its most advanced automotive interior sensing capabilities to date, and represents a major advancement in in-cabin intelligence. It provides "a precise, continuous understanding of occupant presence, position and behaviour" with "high-fidelity sensing that monitors drivers and all vehicle occupants in real time".

Seeing Machines adds that it will demonstrate at CES "how its interior sensing technologies operate in concert with exterior sensor systems to create a more holistic perception of the driving environment", and showcase its latest Driver and Occupant Monitoring System technology through its integrated rear-view mirror solution, which is currently in production as part of Seeing Machines' largest automotive programme won to date "and represents a significant technical milestone across the industry". Says its focus is on co-developing next-generation DMS/OMS solutions to support supervised autonomy.
