IN BRIEF: Scirocco Energy notes seismic data progress on Ruvuma PSA

Scirocco Energy PLC - Leeds, England-based oil & gas investment company - Notes announcement from Animex PLC on the Ruvuma PSA in Tanzania, which said it was pleased at over half of seismic data being acquired over the Ntorya location, and expects the full acquisition to be completed by the middle of October.

In addition, enough seismic data regarding the drilling location of Chikumbi-1 well has been acquired, with processing and interpretation of such data is almost complete.

"It is pleasing to see the positive progress reported today by Aminex, which is supportive of Scirocco's ongoing exposure to the success case of the project as part of the contingent elements of the agreement for the Company's divestment of its interest in the asset to APT," said Chief Executive Officer Tom Reynolds.
