IN BRIEF: PZ Cussons appoints Severfield interim finance chief as CFO

PZ Cussons PLC - Manchester-based consumer goods firm whose brands include Imperial Leather and Carex - appoints Jan Bramall as chief financial officer. She is currently interim chief financial officer at Severfield PLC and was previously chief financial officer of Manchester Airports Group PLC. Bramall, who is joining the company on March 23, will succeed Sarah Pollard who is leaving PZ Cussons to take up a new role.

"Jan will arrive at a pivotal moment following our strategic review and I look forward to working closely with her as we continue to drive the next phase of PZ Cussons' growth. The board is confident that she will make a very significant contribution to the leadership of the business, helping to deliver improved profitability," said Chief Executive Jonathan Myers.

"I'm truly excited to be joining PZ Cussons and working with such a talented team. I look forward to contributing to the company's future growth and financial success," Bramall said.

Current stock price: 73.65 pence, down 0.7% on Monday morning in London.
