IN BRIEF: Nippon Active Value to commence share issue programme

Nippon Active Value Fund PLC - Japan-focused investment firm - Intends to implement a share issuance programme to raise capital for further investment through the issue of up to 300 million ordinary shares or C shares over the next 12 months.

The programme will include an initial issue comprised of a placing, offer for subscription and intermediaries offer, which will comprises up to 150 million new shares.

The programme is expected to help with taking advantages of investment opportunities in a more timely manner, as well as increase its holdings in portfolio firms and its market capitalisation.

Current stock price: 130.50 pence

Year-to-date change: up 22%
