Metal Tiger PLC - Winchester-based investor in natural resources companies and projects - Subscribes for 750,000 shares in Pan Global Resources Inc costing CAD0.60, for a total of CAD450,000, around GBP264,000. Investment was part of Pan Global's CAD15.0 million fundraise. Metal Tiger will hold 1.2 million Pan Global shares following the deal, a 0.6% stake. Shares in Pan Global, which explores for base metals in Spain, closed at CAD0.77 in Toronto on Tuesday.
Separately, Metal Tiger portfolio company Sandfire Resources Ltd awards a USD496 million open pit mining contract for the Motheo copper project in Botswana to Perenti Global Ltd. Metal Tiger has a 3.4% stake in Sandfire and has the right to royalties from the mine.
