IN BRIEF: HgCapital Trust takes part in Hg investment in Rightsline

HgCapital Trust PLC - provides access to private equity investments of manager Hg - The London-listed investment trust will invest GBP11 million as part of an overall USD500 million investment by Hg in Rightsline Software Inc. Rightsline is a Los Angeles, California-based provider of rights and royalties management software. Rightsline's majority owner, Klass Capital, will invest alongside Hg, as will Salem Partners and the Rightsline management team. Hg says its investment is intended to "accelerate Rightsline's product and AI roadmap and support the company's international expansion", and two Hg executives will join the Rightsline board.
