Crimson Tide PLC - Kent, England-based software developer - Chief Executive Officer Phil Meyers steps down from his role immediately. Chief Finance Officer Peter Hurter is stepping down from his role after the company's annual general meeting in June. Founder Barrie Whipp steps in as interim executive chair. Last week Wednesday, Crimson Tide announced that shareholders had voted down a proposed merger with Cambridge, England based workflow management software provider Checkit PLC. The voting results at the General Meeting showed 51.3% of shareholders voted against the merger, compared to 48.7% in favour.
