IN BRIEF: Ceres Power fuel cell with Doosan ready for soft launch

Ceres Power Holdings PLC - Horsham-based fuel cell and electrochemical technology maker - Says Korean partner Doosan Corp, based in Seoul, completes the development of its 10 kilowatt solid oxide fuel cell system for buildings and houses, using two of Ceres's solid oxide fuel cell stacks. Soft launch planned for 2022.

Ceres says the new system delivers 40% higher power generation efficiency when compared with Doosan's existing technology. "After internal testing, we can confidently say that the power generation efficiency of this product is among the highest in the world," says Doosan Business Unit Head Kim Deok-hyeon.

Current stock price: 1,195.20 pence

Year-to-date change: down 9.5%
