Bahamas Petroleum Co PLC - Caribbean and Atlantic margin focused oil and gas company - Supreme Court of the Bahamas hearing is delayed to Wednesday from Tuesday. In addition to matters previously expected to be addressed, lawyers acting for the applications are also seeking leave to amend the application and add the town planning committee as a further respondent. This will be considered at the rescheduled hearing.
On Tuesday, Bahamas Petroleum said drilling of Perseverance #1 well in Bahamas would continue after application for leave to apply for a judicial review, brought against the government of the Bahamas over the issue of environmental authorisation for the well, was denied.
