Agronomics Ltd - Isle of Man, UK-based cellular agriculture company - Notes that portfolio firm Tropic Biosciences UK Ltd has raised USD35 million in its latest funding round led by food system investor Blue Horizon.
Tropical Biosciences UK is a gene-editing firm which develops commercial varieties of tropical crops, both with improved performance and protection. The business focuses on banana, coffee and rice crops.
