Idox wins five-year renewal on electoral services contract in Malta

(Alliance News) - Idox PLC on Monday said it has won a new five-year contract for the continued delivery of election services in Malta.

The Woking, Surrey-based information management software and geospatial data solutions company said the contract with the Electoral Commission of Malta was valued at EUR2.8 million.

Effective immediately, the deal is due to run through to December 2029. It follows the company's work on all Maltese elections since 2019.

Chief Executive Officer David Meaden said: "We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Maltese government to support their elections over the next five years.

"Our innovative solutions and proven track record underscore our commitment to ensuring transparent, secure and seamless electoral processes. We look forward to enhancing the voter experience and strengthening democratic engagement in Malta."

Shares in Idox were down 0.8% at 63.11 pence each in London on Monday morning.
