(Alliance News) - HgCapital Trust PLC on Wednesday said it will invest GBP18.7 million in Florida-based Revalize, which provides operations software for manufacturers.
The London-based investment firm said other clients of its manager Hg will also invest through the Hg Genesis 9 Fund.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part of the transaction, Revalize also announced the planned acquisition of three European software companies. The addition of Procad Group in Germany, SpecPage in Switzerland and Tenado, also in Germany, will extend the Revalize solution portfolio and its European operations.
Mark Friedman, chair of Revalize, said: "In Revalize, we see another opportunity to bring together experts in the world of enterprise software to accelerate growth for a business with enormous potential."
FTSE 250-listed HgCapital Trust shares were trading 0.5% higher in London on Wednesday at 421.50 pence each.
