Mon, 02nd Sep 2019 17:39

(Alliance News) - Goldstone Resources Ltd on Monday said it has appointed former Murray & Roberts Holdings Ltd executive Orrie Fenn as an independent non-executive director.

Fenn retired from Murray & Roberts, where he was chief executive of its Underground Mining business platform, in August 2018.

Fenn is the former chief operating officer officer of Johannesburg-listed PPC Ltd and joins gold explorer Goldstone with immediate effect.

Goldstone Non-Executive Chair Bill Trew said: "We are delighted to welcome Orrie Fenn to Goldstone's board. He brings a wealth of experience in mine development and engineering advisory and, ultimately, business growth globally. His insights and expertise will be highly valuable and comes at a compelling time for the company, as we seek to develop and enhance our project in Ghana."
