Global Ports Expands Asian Portfolio By Adding Ha Long Bay In Vietnam

(Alliance News) - Global Ports Holding PLC on Wednesday said it has signed a 15-year management service agreement with Ha Long Sun Ltd Liability Co for the international cruise port located in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

The cruise port operator explained that Ha Long port is the first purpose-built cruise port in Vietnam and is capable of handling the world's largest cruise ships. It is the second port in Global Ports' portfolio in Asia.

"This agreement marks a truly historic moment for Global Ports Holding and marks an important inflection point in our growth aspirations in Asia," said Chief Executive Emre Sayin.

Global Ports shares were trading flat in London on Wednesday at 233.00 pence each.
