Global Ports Completes Acquisition Of La Goulette Port Operator

(Alliance News) - Global Ports Holding PLC on Monday said Goulette Cruise Holding Ltd as completed the acquisition of Goulette Shipping Cruise, the company that operates the cruise terminal in La Goulette, Tunisia.

Goulette Cruise is a joint venture between Global Ports and MSC Cruises SA. Goulette Shipping Cruise was bought from Al Karama Holding.

Global Ports noted that the concession to operate the cruise port was awarded to Goulette Shipping Cruise in 2006 on a 30-year basis, with a right to extend the term for an additional 20 years.

Shares in Global Ports were marginally lower at 239.92 pence each on Monday in London.
