LONDON (Alliance News) - Global Invacom Group Ltd and Avanti Communications Group PLC are among the consortium partners on an end-to-end satellite communications service which will be presented at the IBC 2015 event in Amsterdam, the former said on Monday morning.
Global Invacom, the satellite communications company, and Avanti, the satellite operator, are working with Microsoft Corp and the European Space Agency on a service which will integrated satellite broadcast television and broadband.
The platform will allow viewers to watch up to eight live streaming channels and video-on-demand services with the option of integrating multiple satellite sources.
Global Invacom shares were untraded early Monday, having last traded at 9.00 pence, while Avanti shares were down 0.5% to 220.9267 pence.
