GB Group expands partnership with data firm Equifax into US

Wed, 20th May 2026 14:26

(Alliance News) - GB Group PLC on Wednesday said it has expanded its partnership with global data, analytics and technology firm Equifax Inc into the US.

The Chester, England-based identity verification and fraud prevention company said as part of this expanded relationship, Equifax Identity and Fraud solutions will be integrated into GB Group's adaptive identity platform, GBG Go.

The firms said this will allow more business to use proprietary Equifax data to "protect themselves from the rising cost of fraud".

Additionally, Equifax will integrate GBG's data verification capabilities in the US this year, with global use in 2027.

"The identity and fraud landscape is changing rapidly, and businesses need data-driven solutions that enable both trust and growth," said GBG Chief Executive Officer Dev Dhiman.

"Together with Equifax, we're helping global organisations respond to increasingly sophisticated fraud while scaling confidently. We're already successfully leveraging Equifax proprietary data to power faster, more accurate identity verification in key markets across the globe - and this expansion allows us to bring those proven capabilities, together with robust fraud protection, to the US market."

Shares in GB Group were down 2.0% at 224.00 pence on Wednesday afternoon in London.
