Friday preview: Electrocomponents' revival may be faltering

Having been hit by customers running down inventories during the credit crunch, electronic components distributor Electrocomponents made up for lost time once confidence started returning to markets, but there have been signs this year that the revival may be coming to an end.Revenues grew 4% in the four months to January 31st, with strong growth internationally offsetting a more subdued performance in the UK, but that performance disguised a growth rate of ust 1% in January.The worry for holders of the stock is that the top-line might have gone ex-growth in February and March. We will find out on Friday, when the company issues a trading update.
