EU could release jet fuel stocks if Strait of Hormuz situation continues - spokesperson
LONDON, April 17 (Reuters) - The European Union is prepared for a possible coordinated release of jet fuel stocks if the situation in the Strait of Hormuz continues, an EU spokesperson told Reuters on Friday, after Germany's largest aviation lobby called for a release of Europe's strategic jet fuel reserves.
Iran said on Friday that it would reopen the Strait of Hormuz for commercial shipping during the Lebanon ceasefire. (Reporting by Joanna Plucinska; Editing by Hugh Lawson)
