Wed, 08th May 2019 09:38

LONDON (Alliance News) - EMIS Group PLC said Wednesday that trading in 2019-to-date is in line with management expectations, with high levels of recurring revenue.

During the period, the healthcare software and services provider continued to focus on its medium-term growth plan, with the deployment of improved internal systems that are expected to drive grater efficiencies in 2019 and beyond.

In addition, EMIS said that pre-procurement engagement with NHS Digital has continued to be positive, with the GP IT Futures procurement process expected to start in the next few weeks.

Cloud-based product EMIS-X remains on track for its eventual launch, with an increased level of development resources dedicated to the project.

In the Patient segment, trials of the new platform app are to start soon, ahead of its marketplace launch in the second half of the year.

"The board remains confident of making further progress in delivering EMIS Group's vision of driving greater integration and efficiency in healthcare, both for the NHS and the group's enterprise customers," said Chairman Mike O'Leary in his annual general meeting statement.

Shares in EMIS Group were down 0.2% at 1,152.00 pence on Wednesday.
